It is always a pleasure to see the operators faces light up when delivering and installing a complete suite of machines for automating wire processing and crimping. Our customer has for many years processed all wire and cable by hand including stripping and crimping. Their biggest problem was the variety of applications and low batch quantities.
Cablespeed assessed their requirements and supplied a number of machines best suited to cater for their needs. The Komax Kappa 330 allows them to process 22awg wire with a cut length of 15mm with 5mm strip both ends, 6sqmm double insulated cable with two stage strip and 20 core multi-core cable 12m long with 100mm strip both ends. All can be achieved on this single machine. Following the process we introduced the Gamma T12 crimping press and applicators to automated the crimp process with the Komax Mira 230 there to strip wire ends on the multi-core cables ready for crimping,
